DEC. 1: HIGHLAND OPEN STUDIO TOURS SUNDAYS, Each first Sunday will feature open studios, garages, yards and front porches filled with art, music, tag sales and other events. DEC. 7: FIFTH ANNUAL CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL, Theme: Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree, featuring silent auction, car show, chili cook-off, hidden treasure, live entertainment, pictures with Santa at 1 p.m., arts and crafts vendors, and food vendors. DEC. 7-8: 2013 HOLIDAY TOUR OF HISTORIC HOMES, Visit five homes of diverse architectural styles in the Highland and Fairfield Historic Districts, as well as the Highland Holiday Art Market featuring items made by many artists who live and work in the Highland Cultural District.
