The “good news” for students is that the Caddo 2016-2017 school year will be 10 days shorter than last year; the last day of school will be May 19. How all this plays out for students, parents, teachers and school staff are questions yet to be answered.

Elio has promised the manufacture in Shreveport of a three-wheeled vehicle as a low-cost, high-mileage alternative to conventional cars. Paul Elio, the company founder, chief executive and spin doctor, reported that none of the dozen people who said they would invest $500 grand each actually bought shares.
