Cataracts are a clouding or opacification of the eyes’ native lens. While there are many varieties of cataracts and some can impair vision sooner than others, the most common type of cataract is an aging change that is usually present to some degree by the age of 65.

Without treatment, these carriers may face advanced liver disease issues during the aging process. It is estimated 2.4 million Americans do not know they are infected with the hepatitis C virus.
