ADDY AWARDS

Advertising professionals from Shreveport and Bossier City gathered Feb. 15 at East Ridge Country Club to honor the best in the local advertising world at the American Advertising Federation of Shreveport-Bossier’s ADDY awards. Conducted annually by the AAF, the local club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. The Best of Show award was given to Gremillion and Pou for their four-color campaign entry in the consumer or trade publication category. The campaign titled “FRESH” was designed for Brookshire’s. The Student Best of Show winner was Lauren Daniel of LSUS. She won with her direct marketing piece titled “Pantonium Day.” The Best of Print award was given to Gorilla Design Studio for their consumer local integrated campaign for the Red River Revel. The Best of Web award was also given to Gorilla Design Studio for their digital advertising consumer website for the Shreveport-Bossier Fun Guide. The Best of Broadcast award was given to CRM Studios for their Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse video entered into the digital advertising branded content (more than 60 seconds) video category. This year, the AAFSB had 151 professional ADDY entries in 13, broad categories. There are more than 70 subcategories.
