The Krewe of Atlas presented its theme, “Dreams,” and coronation July 26 at the Shreveport Memorial Municipal Auditorium. Guests were asked to wear white and  Atlas “provided the color.” Tables were decorated in white with plume centerpieces. Desserts hung on platters from a white tree. The ball will be Jan. 10 at the Shreveport Convention Center. The krewe was established in 2006.
