This spring, thousands of college seniors will toss their caps into the air at graduation ceremonies across the country, embarking on what they hope will be a bright, financially stable future. After all, they’ve earned a degree; doesn’t that guarantee a decent or at least a high-paying job?.

Daryl Marx, MD, specializing in general, bariatric and robotic-assisted surgery at Willis-Knighton Health System, has performed his 3,000th da Vinci® robotic surgery. Dr. Marx, who practices at WK Minimally Invasive Surgery Center, has been using the da Vinci technology since 2012.

Today, though, Puckett is one of 15 graduates of a pilot, computer-coding course called HackerForge, a course created by the Shreveport-based Twin Engine Labs and Cohab, the small business-centric nonprofit in downtown Shreveport. And by all accounts, Puckett is no longer a slouch at computers.
