The big burger is constructed with two lean ground beef patties that are hand-pressed into 12-inch cake pans and cooked to order on a large griddle.

Though G’Marie’s, located at 2130 Greenwood Road, has only been open since November, the restaurant, open for breakfast and lunch, has plenty of regulars that pop in almost daily to enjoy the specials or their own favorites on the menu. Breakfast is served 6 to 11 a.

For 20 years, Montgomery owned and operated Montgomery Interiors but decided to try something new in 2010 when she closed her business. During her time owning Montgomery Interiors, she worked alongside fellow designer, Janet Meier, decorating numerous homes in the Shreveport-Bossier City area.
