Over the last few weeks, there has been significant media coverage on the question of reopening schools. These stories are pretty comprehensive in covering the potential negative consequences of school reopening.
The scientific method encourages discovery. Science rechecks assumptions and logic as more information is available. It is how we learned a great deal about the COVID-19 virus and its impact over the last couple of months. What is important is to apply our knowledge as we make decisions as a country, state, community and individuals.
What I am struck by is the hard work, dedication and commitment so many people have to one another and to our community. I believe the role of the Chamber is to help amplify that work and those efforts, so that they can succeed and be a catalyst for improving our community.
