The second Agora Borealis Fashion Show will go deep into the woods to showcase a mix of the new and established designers in Shreveport-Bossier City. “We wanted to do a different theme from last year for our fashion show. Everyone was onboard when we announced it was ‘Into the Woods’ and got inspired,” Katy Larsen, owner of The Agora Borealis, said. Larsen said the theme challenged some of the designers to go beyond their designs to fit the theme. “We are all learning something new, but still applying our given talents to show what we are good at,” Larsen said. “The show was our chance to bring in other artistic talents, and apply new techniques. This show started to be more focused on the clothing, but it’s really about the art. We are really trying to get everyone involved.” Some of the designers featured in the show will be Cookie DuBois, Melanie Scarlett, Amy Treme, Jane Ryder, Wendy Tisdale, Vessel Vintage, Bonnie and VonRay.
