Dr. Woodrow Wilson, Jr.
Administrator and CEO, Parish of Caddo
Dr. Woodrow "Woody" Wilson Jr. is the administrator/CEO for the parish of Caddo, where he manages the daily functions of Caddo Parish government, overseeing eight departments and over 400 employees. He recently announced his retirement after 22 years of service to Caddo Parish.
Wilson proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a chief master sergeant. He retired after 25 years from Barksdale Air Force Base, where he was assigned as chief of heavy repair for the 2nd Civil Engineering Squadron.
Dr. Wilson holds an Associate Degree of Applied Science in HVAC/refrigeration from the Community College of the Air Force, a Bachelor of Science in industrial technology from Central State University, an MBA from Central Michigan University, and a Doctor of Public Administration and Organizational Leadership from North Central University.
Dr. Wilson is a community champion and has received numerous awards and recognition for his service. He is a deacon and Sunday school teacher at Stonewall Baptist Church in Bossier City. He serves as a board member for the Multicultural Development Center of Bossier City and the Louisiana State Board of Commerce and Industry. Dr. Wilson is married to Julia Bryant Wilson, and they have four children and three grandchildren.
