The Better Business Bureau’s 13th Annual Torch Award Event will be Nov.16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at East Ridge Country Club. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. with program and awards presentation to follow. Seats are $40 per person, and sponsor tables are available. Proceeds from the annual Torch Awards go to student scholarships. The BBB will present scholarships to students from LSU-Shreveport, Southern University-Shreveport, Bossier Parish Community College, Centenary College of Louisiana, Louisiana Tech-Ruston, La. and Northwestern State University, Natchitoches, La. The featured speaker will be Scott Martinez, president of North Louisiana Economic Partnership.
