Taste 2023, a festival of food and art benefiting Holy Angels, was held on Sept. 28 at the Bossier Civic Center. Over 1,500 guests enjoyed mouthwatering cuisine from over 40 vendors, live entertainment by Windstorm and a silent auction. – Paul Savage Jr.

Keep Bossier Beautiful hosted its fundraiser, Dinner Under the Stars, in the East Bank District on Sunday, Sept. 24. The event showcased all that East Bank has to offer while raising resources to continue Keep Bossier Beautiful’s work to decrease litter, enhance recycling, and beautify communities. Guests enjoyed the tastes of favorite cuisine from various East Bank District restaurateurs and the instrumental sounds of musician Curtis Mills on the saxophone. – Mark Crawford

The Red Tie Gala returned for a second year on Oct. 7 at LeBossier Hotel and Event Center. It is a fundraiser for the 360 Foundation, which stemmed from a commitment to endorse initiatives aimed at children ages 5-15 to provide guidance through mentorship.
