SIP, UNLIMITED, a wine, food and entertainment experience showcasing Northwest Louisiana’s favorite restaurants and wines from around the globe, will be held at Margaritaville Resort Casino on Sunday, Sept. 10. Guests will visit an array of food and wine vendors located throughout the property, offering food and wine tastings.

As this is a year of elections, seeing another one surface shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. But a challenge to the seat held by Judge Jay Caraway on the Second Circuit Court of Appeal is a surprise given the overwhelming esteem in which he’s held by the legal community and beyond.

The first of its kind locally, the Louisiana Association for the Blind’s Dining in the Dark event will provide attendees with the chance to eat a meal without using their sense of sight, and experience what life is like for the blind and visually impaired.
