Emerie Eck Gentry, donor relations manager, Bossier Arts Council, believes the 40 Under 40 Awards is a wonderful opportunity for young people in the Shreveport-Bossier area.

Last week, I came across a list of trends published by Urbanscale, a company whose job it is to keep up with what downtowns are doing across the country. Always curious to see how we are doing compared to others, I dove in … and almost immediately broke into a smile.

“40 Under 40 winners are viewed as assets in this community,” YPI President Emerie Gentry said. “Their contributions to the various businesses and organizations make Shreveport-Bossier City a better place for everyone, which in turn attracts more young professionals to the area.
