Emerie Eck Gentry, donor relations manager, Bossier Arts Council, believes the 40 Under 40 Awards is a wonderful opportunity for young people in the Shreveport-Bossier area.

Surprisingly, approximately one in six couples will struggle with infertility at some point. As many couples are now delaying pregnancy, infertility is becoming more common. Unfortunately, many couples do not feel comfortable discussing this struggle publicly and prefer to deal with it in private.

Eliminate standing water where mosquitoes breed. Drain water that collects in buckets, kids toys, tarps, pool covers, clogged gutters and downspouts. Clear the gutters and downspouts so water can drain freely. Store items that tend to collect water in a shed or garage.
