Transform your body without surgery

The CoolSculpting fat-freezing procedure is the only FDAcleared, non-surgical fatreduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists all efforts through diet and exercise. The results are proven, noticeable and lasting—so you'll look great from every angle.

What makes the CoolSculpting (CS) procedure different is its advanced cooling technology that targets and eliminates fat cells. Unlike traditional invasive surgical procedures, the procedure is non-invasive: No needles and no incisions. There is no need for anesthesia, and there is no recovery time. You can actually have this procedure done during your lunch break. Most patients relax and watch TV or take a quick nap.

The Jade MediSpa at The Wall Center for Plastic Surgery has two CS systems so that two areas can be treated simultaneously. Their certified CS specialists have been trained by the developers of CoolSculpting in California. Expertise and finesse are extremely important with CS as it is not only de-bulking areas but also sculpting your body to give you that desired hourglass shape for women, or the V-shape for men.

Frequently Asked Questions • Am I a good candidate?

Good candidates have noticeable bulges in specific areas they’d like to get rid of. The CS fat-reduction procedure is specifically designed for those who have unwanted fat that has resisted diet and exercise. Unlike gastric bypass surgery, this procedure is not a weight-loss solution for people who are obese. It is, however, a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. Request a one-on-one consultation to determine if the CoolSculpting procedure is right for you. If you are not a good candidate for CS, consult your physician about other possible considerations. Areas that have significant stretch marks may not be ideal for CS.

• How does CoolSculpting actually work?

For every area that is treated, 20 percent of the fat cells freeze, on average. Those fat cells break up and are metabolized by your body and flushed out.

• When will I see my results?

You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after three months. Your body will still flush out fat cells and continue doing so for up to four to six months after treatment.

• What areas can be treated?

In the U.S., the CS procedure is FDAcleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the sub-mental area, inner and outer thigh, abdomen and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, arms and underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll).

• What happens if I gain weight?

Many people, after seeing the results from their CS procedure, take even better care of themselves. However, if you do gain weight, you may gain it evenly all over your body. The fat cells that were frozen are gone forever. Your remaining fat cells can get larger with weight gain, or smaller with weight loss, and this happens all over your body. You will not “bulk up” in any certain spot.

• Do I need to take any supplements or follow any special diet?

No supplements or pills are required, and you do not have to adopt new diet or exercise habits – but you might be more motivated to maintain your physique after your CS treatment.

• Can I return to normal activities after the procedure?

Yes, you can – immediately. The procedure is completely non-surgical. Often, patients return to work after their session is over.

• How much does the treatment cost?

The price for CS procedures varies depending on your areas of concern, the number of sessions needed, and your ultimate goals. Your physician will help create a customized treatment plan for you, tailored to your body, your goals and your budget.

• How long is each session? How many sessions will I need?

Treatment plans are individualized and tailored to your specific goals. The length of your CS session will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. Treatment times start at around 35 minutes.
