Rodney Reeves Joins Always Best Care Senior Services

Always Best Care Senior Services has selected Rodney Reeves as its new marketing director. Reeves is well-known in Shreveport-Bossier City and the surrounding area as part of the Reeves family who owned and operated Reeves Marine for more than 80 years. Rodney served as the marketing and sales director of Reeves Marine for more than 50 years.

Always Best Care works with case managers, social workers, discharge planners, doctors and families to provide affordable, comprehensive solutions that can be specifically matched to meet a client’s particular physical or social needs. Levingston Honoree for Small Business Owner of the Year

Kathy Levingston, the owner of Bea Destined Designs, LLC, has been selected as an honoree for Small Business Owner of the Year by the Business Development Connection (BDC) of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce.

Each year, the BDC recognizes outstanding minority individuals or businesses who are making a difference in the community at the Annual Minority Business Opportunity Awards Dinner. Honorees for the Small Business Owner of the Year award are minority individuals who own, operate and bear the principal responsibility for managing a small business (less than 50 employees).

Levingston’s company is founded on creating unique, handcrafted designs for people to enjoy. Levingston creates custom jewelry, homemade soaps, hand-poured candles made from allnatural ingredients, and hand sanitizers.

Levingston is also a client service coordinator with Cardinaux Wealth Advisors, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial in Shreveport, La.

Wysong Promoted to GM at Convention Center, Municipal

SMG has named Erika Fregoso Wysong the general manager of the Shreveport Convention Center and Shreveport Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport. Wysong most recently served as the assistant general manager for both venues. A 24-year veteran of the hospitality and facility management industry in Shreveport, Wysong has spent the past 10 years as director of sales and marketing for the properties. Her professional experience includes various sales and marketing positions at Harrah’s Entertainment/ Horseshoe Gaming before joining SMG. She has worked to promote Shreveport as a destination during her career.

With a Bachelor of Arts in communications and public relations from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Wysong has strong ties to the market and has been instrumental in attracting toptier talent such as Bob Dylan, Tyler Perry’s “Madea,” Luke Combs and “Dancing with the Stars,” to name a few. Sanders Named Honoree For Top Business Professional

Renisha J. Sanders, operations manager with Cardinaux Wealth Advisors, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial in Shreveport, La., has been selected as an honoree for Top Business Professional of the Year by the Business Development Connection of the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce.

Sanders has proven her professional excellence in her role at Cardinaux, where she’s helped grow the company in her nearly nine years of service. She has also demonstrated her commitment to professional growth through her recent nomination as a 2018 40 Under Forty honoree by the Young Professional Initiative of Northwest Louisiana, an award that recognizes individuals who possess values such as achievement, experience, innovation, vision, leadership and community involvement. Her commitment to bettering the community is evident through her engagement with non-profit and community organizations, particularly NORLA (North Louisiana Preservation Project), where she serves as vice president.
