One-Night-Only Dining Experiences

Join Chef Brad Jones and Chef Allison Gras of The Revenir, as well as writer and social media influencer Mallori Sanders for a special beer-pairing dinner, 6-8:30 p.m., Monday, March 16, at Great Raft Brewing. The Revenir is a modern, French-inspired farm-to-table restaurant that will be located inside of the Every Man a King Distillery in downtown Shreveport. This four-course dinner with passed appetizers will feature Great Raft Brewing beers paired with each course. Tickets are $75 each, and guests must be 21 or older.

Chef Hardette Harris of Us Up North Kitchen presents an evening celebrating outstanding products made by food entrepreneurs in “the 318,” 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, March 17. Throughout the course of the evening, guests will sample foods created by regional chefs and makers. Chris Jay, blogger at www.20×49.com and author of the Stuffed & Busted e-newsletter, will facilitate a conversation with several of the participating chefs and makers.

Tickets are $45 each. Join Chef David Bridges and Slow Food North Louisiana's Angie White for "Creole Moderne," a unique evening at Sauvage featuring updated Creole classics at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 18. This one-night-only dining event is presented in partnership with 318 Restaurant Week. The five-course dinner will include cocktail and wine pairings. Tickets are $125 each, and only 30 tickets are available for advance purchase. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.

Sweep away the dross. Balance the opposing forces within. Celebrate the arrival of spring with a seasonal spring equinox celebration at Glow Alchemy Kitchen with Chef Jessica Comegys in Shreveport at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20. Tickets: $125. Only 20 seats available.

Join and Chef Niematulai Longstratt for a holistic dining experience spotlighting the cuisine of Sierra Leone's “Lion Mountain” — the only place in West Africa where mountains rise from the ocean. "A Taste of Lion Mountain" will be held, 6-10 p.m., on Saturday, March 21.
