FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR 14TH ANNUAL TORCH AWARDS
The Better Business Bureau's 14th Annual Torch Award Event will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Oct. 26 at East Ridge Country Club. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. with program and awards presentation to follow. Seats are $40 per person, or sponsor tables are available. Proceeds from the annual Torch Awards go to student scholarships presented to students from LSU-Shreveport, Southern University- Shreveport, Bossier Parish Community College, Centenary College of Louisiana, Louisiana Tech University, Northwestern State University and the University of Louisiana-Monroe. The featured speaker will be Scott Muscutt, general manager of the Shreveport Mudbugs.
The finalists in the Integrity category are Paul's Home Inspection Service, LLC; Educator Alexander Consulting, LLC; and Medic Pharmacy.
Finalists in the Customer Commitment category are Johnson's Moving & Storage of Shreveport, Automatic Payroll Systems Inc. and Robert Brown Plumbing, LLC.
And, the finalists in the Good Neighbor category are Bos-Man’s Barber College, LLC; Highland Clinic; and Roppolo's Insulation, LLC.
In the Non-Profit category the finalists are Gingerbread House, Bossier/Caddo Children’s Advocacy Center, Community Renewal International, The ARC Caddo-Bossier, and United Way of Northwest Louisiana.
