THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS: NORTON ART GALLERY PRIVATE TOURS now open to the public on a limited basis. On Thursdays two tours available: 10 a.m. “A Family Tour” focusing on exploring the museum from a child’s point of view and at 11:15 a.m. adult tours, visiting a different part of the museum’s permanent collection each week. THROUGH SEPT. 25: BOSSIER ARTS COUNCIL is hosting their popular artists' call for a third time, “Contained Cubed,” the 12” x 12” show. Local artists can submit their works for this exhibition, and all works will be sold for $50. Artwork submitted will be juried by an anonymous gallery panel. $10 submission fee for nonmembers. Free submission for BAC members/students/ military (must provide valid ID).
