• LA Sports Writers Association Recognizes Taglavore

Veteran broadcaster Tony Taglavore has been recognized by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association for his radio play-byplay work.

In the LSWA's annual contest, Taglavore and Jimmy Martin (color analyst) won first place in the "Best Live Radio Broadcast Team" category for their work calling Captain Shreve High School football.

This fall, Taglavore will begin his 14th season as the "Voice of the Gators" and his fourth season alongside Martin. You can listen to their broadcasts on KLKL-FM 95.7 "The River.”

• Davisson Receives Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor Designation

Jordon Davisson, CRPC ® , a Paraplanner with Cardinaux Wealth Advisors in Shreveport, has achieved the professional designation of Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM (CRPC ® ) through the College of Financial Planning.

Davisson completed the rigorous requirements that include course work and a series of examinations covering preand post-retirement needs, asset management, estate planning and the entire retirement planning process using models and techniques from real client situations.

Jordon graduated from Louisiana State University in Shreveport with a degree in science with a concentration in math and physics. He has two years of experience with Ameriprise Financial.
