JULY 15-24: “THE SOUND OF MUSIC”: Rodgers and Hammerstein’s immortal musical “The Sound of Music” is the summer production at the Emmett Hook Center. It will be running weekends, July 15-24.. The cast of 70 performers will be led by Liesl Cruz (Maria), Bob Gadpaile (Captain von Trapp) and Sarah Wilkerson (Mother Abbess). They will be joined by an orchestra of 28 professional instrumentalists. Over 120 people will be involved with every per performance.
