FEB. 3 AND 10: 18TH ANNUAL RED RIVER MARDI GRAS BASH: The Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Tourist Bureau will host the annual event during the Krewe of Centaur and Krewe of Gemini parades in downtown Shreveport. A unique parade day experience offers VIP treatment and “behind-the-scenes” access for groups during one of the largest Mardi Gras parades in Louisiana.

FEB. 4: KREWE OF BARKUS AND MEOUX PARADE: The Mardi Paw Pet Parade is a chance for festive pets to celebrate Mardi Gras. All pet owners are invited to participate. Animal costumes are encouraged.
