Dripp Donuts, a local shooting star in the fried dough category, whose brick-and-mortar location downtown was condemned and subsequently razed by the city due to structural issues (not their fault), has resurrected itself on Line Avenue, next to Byrd High School, revealing a hidden treasure.

That revelation captured a Top 5 spot in the Best Fried Chicken category as well as Best Donuts. Who knew that bubbling along with those delectable dough balls were some refugees from the white-haired colonel’s clutches?
