In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought all “nonessential” businesses and events to a standstill. At the same time, the need in our community multiplied overnight. Since the spring of 2020, North Louisiana nonprofits have worked tirelessly to help those who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.

The Community Foundation of North Louisiana founded Give for Good, a 24-hour giving day, in 2014. Since its inception, more than $8.1 million has been raised during Give for Good for participating North Louisiana nonprofit organizations. (Notably, the Community Foundation does not receive any of the proceeds.
