Frank’s Louisiana Kitchen

SoundBites

A little slice of New Orleans right here in Shreveport

What we tried:

Baked Cajun spinach and artichoke dip – served with crunchy crostini and mixed greens. Crunchy toast paired with creamy dip is the perfect way to start your meal.

Gratineed Gulf oysters on the half-shell – served with champagne compound butter, crushed saltines and Parmigiano.

Pecan-crusted redfish – This entrée special was so popular, they had to add it to the regular menu! The redfish is served atop creamy Asiago stoneground grits with hazelnut French green beans.

Grilled filet – served with creamy Asiago stone-ground grits and garlicroasted broccolini. I also got a side of house-made béarnaise sauce, because how can you have a steak without some béarnaise sauce?

Bourbon-chocolate pecan pie a la mode – As you may know, I love a good bourbon. I love a good bourbon dessert even better. This flavorful pie is served with house-made vanilla bean ice cream, topped with whipped cream.

Next Visit:

Fried chicken and brownbutter waffles from their brunch menu. I’m a big fan of chicken and waffles, and I’m always excited to try them somewhere new.

Vibe:

Casually upscale feel with New Orleans flavor. Each dish is well thought out with close attention to detail.
