Women-owned and women-run businesses are up 4% over 2020, according to the Small Business Trends Alliance. It makes sense. Even in a global pandemic, in the face of enormous challenges, women found their hidden strength. And, boy, did they need it.
There seemed to be no respite from anything, except perhaps a normal, daily routine. That was all thrown out the window with social distancing, working remotely, homeschooling, closed daycare centers, and maybe a spouse or
significant other under foot. Home offices. Messy pets. Needy children. It has been “tail over teakettle,” no doubt.
