The Cotillion Club hosted its 75th annual ball on Friday, April 12, at Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. L’Esprit Rococo served as this year’s 18th-Century France theme. Cotillion King His Royal Majesty Rex LXXV was Christian Basinger Frierson, and Her Royal Majesty Regina LXXV, Emma Deas Pickens. Following the royalty presentation, the grand buffet was hosted under the stars with endless floral arrangements throughout the outdoor pavilion, a 15-foot-tall dessert cake tower and a fireworks finale. — Mark Crawford

The Shreveport Little Theatre hosted Curtains Up! A Spectacular Evening of Dining and Star-Studded Broadway Entertainment on Saturday, April 13, at East Ridge Country Club. The fundraising event also featured an exceptional tribute to Robert Darrow, the managing and artistic director of the Shreveport Little Theatre for the last 27 years. Nearly two dozen former Shreveport Little Theatre actors performed different songs from productions throughout his career. — Mark Crawford
