Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana held its Power of CommUNITY luncheon on May 16 at Sam’s Town Hotel & Casino. Celebrating its 98th year, Goodwill welcomed guest speaker Chris Singleton, a former professional athlete, who shared his story of overcoming his mother’s death from a mass shooting. — Heather Bryson
