The Greater Shreveport Chamber hosted the 34th Annual ATHENA International Leadership Award Luncheon on Nov. 14 at Sam’s Town Casino & Hotel. Dr. Wanda Henderson Thomas was recognized as the 2024 award recipient. The ATHENA International Leadership Award recognizes the highest level of professional excellence and demonstrates how they have opened doors for other women to achieve their full potential. — Mark Crawford

Snoopy Goes Abroad was the theme of the 2025 senior class of Loyola College Prep’s 71st annual Style Show and Luncheon held Nov. 13 at the Bossier Civic Center. Eighty-seven seniors modeled outfits from local clothiers. Loyola is the only school in the country with the right to use him as a mascot. — Mary Ann Van Osdell
