Renesting Project hosted its annual fundraiser, RenestFest, at Live! Casino and Hotel on Saturday, Sept. 27. The disco-themed event encouraged people to wear their finest disco attire. There was a live and silent auction, plenty of disco music and interactive games. — Mark Crawford

Monster Mash 5, the annual Halloween fundraiser for the Tiffany Strong Scholarship Foundation, was hosted again in the Paradise Theater at Margaritaville Casino in Bossier City. The party featured a cash prize costume contest, a silent auction and live entertainment by Caravan Band. More than $162,000 was raised at the event, which provides scholarships for Bossier Parish students. — Mark Crawford
