Robinson’s Rescue presented their annual fundraiser, Best of Sheaux. This year’s theme was “Disco InFURno,” and it was a dance floor extravaganza as guests traveled back to the ’80s to familiar beats as dogs and their owners (plus one leashed kitty) strutted the runway. The Shreveport Garden Study Club hosted its biennial floral design symposium, “Bouquets,” on March 19 at East Ridge Country Club. This year’s speaker was author Cathy B. Graham. Her “Full Bloom” book was for sale, and she gave a presentation on it. There was a unique garden shopping area.
