FEB. 7: KREWE OF CENTAUR PARADE, Parade begins at Clyde Fant Parkway at Lake Street. It continues on Clyde Fant Parkway to Shreveport-Barksdale Highway. The parade then takes a left on to East Kings Highway and continues to Preston Avenue, where it ends.

FEB. 7: VALENTINE’S TRUNK SHOW, gifts to adore, made from local lovers themselves. 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Agora Borealis, 421 Lake St. Shreveport. 

FEB. 8: KREWE OF BARKUS AND MEOUX, The Mardi Paw Pet Parade is a chance for festive pets to celebrate Mardi Gras.
