Artini: The Horseshoe Riverdome played host to Artini, Bossier Arts Council’s annual fundraiser April 25. Nearly a dozen local restaurants served up miniversions of unique martini drinks crafted just for this event. Engine provided the live entertainment.

Mall: “Raising the Bar on Summer Shopping,” billed as an Ultimate Girls Night Out, was held May 19 at Mall St. Vincent around the turtle pond. Among the activities were a makeup, shoe, handbag and lingerie bar. Grimaldi’s served up three kinds of pizzas and a wine bar. Nestle Café desserts were featured also. Women modeled clothing available at the mall. Giveaways, coupons and grand prizes were included.
