Shreveport Regional Arts Council unveiled Rainbow City, an interactive art installation of giant inflatables, to a crowd of supporters and dignitaries at a special preview party sponsored by 318 Forum Magazine. Artists and creators of Rainbow City, Arturo Sandoval III and Samual L. Borkson, confessed to being wowed by the hospitality the city has shown them and in awe of the local arts community. Rainbow City has been exhibited in Tokyo; NYC; Toronto, Canada; and Art Basel, Miami. (See page 43 for Rainbow City events through Dec. 21.)
