Caddo Parish Chair/Love Life Amendment

On Nov. 3, Louisianans will vote on this amendment to the Louisiana Constitution to ban abortions and government funding. Pro-choice people have gone to the extent of keeping the Shreveport abortion clinic open, disregarding the non-essential business proclamation. People and groups (Planned Parenthood, George Soros, etc.) will fund a campaign against the amendment.

Rep. Katrina Jackson, a Democrat from Monroe who authored the bill, said the state constitution needs to be amended in case the federal law legalizing abortion is overturned.

“I wholeheartedly endorse the Love Life Amendment,” said Spencer Swope of the EWTN Global Catholic Network. “Caddo Parish needs this to fight off the horrendous assault against life in this area. All of us at EWTN fully support all pro-life efforts that will combat the ‘culture of death.’” • More abortions are performed in Caddo Parish than anywhere else in the state (3,432 babies died by abortion in Shreveport in 2018).

• Over 40 percent of all abortions in Louisiana take place at the abortion clinic in Shreveport.

• An average of nine babies per day died in our community last year due to abortion.

• Since 2006, over 40,000 babies have been killed by abortion at Hope Medical Group in Shreveport.

Many of Louisianans have still not heard that we get to vote on this amendment. Please go to www. lovelifevoteyes.com/pledge and sign up and confirm you will cast your vote. Please share.

I have been signing my Sunday Facebook posts about the amendment over the last few months; I mention a baby’s size due on Nov. 3; I’m #ExpectingGreatResults.
