The table decorations and hats at the C. Wright Pink Ribbon Project annual Elegant Spring Tea are always phenomenal. Held at Stonewall Baptist Church, one table was in honor of a mother who succumbed to cancer, another had a vase filled with cash, and others were a chandelier, mannequin and balloons. Speaker Angelor Johnson said the group is an action ministry for patients and their families. The fundraiser increases awareness and raises funds to provide financial assistance to breast cancer patients. Survivors received a special gift. – Mary Ann Van Osdell
