The Shreveport Regional Arts Council hosted an Art the Dalmatian-themed "Paw-ty" and live auction celebrating the Club 365 sponsors at Artspace in downtown Shreveport on Oct. 15. Guests were able to lap up libations, dine on delicious treats, including a grilled cheese station with inside-out grilled cheese sandwiches, and after a live auction, dance the night away, all in the middle of Texas Street. The live auction featured experiences including visiting a taping of “The Voice” and “Saturday Night Live” on NBC and a VIP trip to Walt Disney World. Proceeds from the party benefit 6 the Shreveport Regional Arts Council.

The Arc of Caddo-Bossier hosted Wine, Dine and Equine 2021 at The Lot in Downtown Shreveport on Oct. 23. The event featured food from Ki Mexico, Sample Farms, Farmer's Seafood and Mahaffey Farms and live music from Seth Bradford, followed by The Good News. There were silent and live auctions with items up for bid and a life-sized paint-by-number art project that guests could paint. The event raised more than $150,000 to support The Arc of Caddo-Bossier's GREAT (Great Results Equine Assisted Therapy) program. – Mark Crawford
