MAGAZINE NAMES CHEMISTRY HAIR SALON AMONG TOP

Chemistry Hair Salon in Shreveport owned by Bryan Sullivan was named to the “SALON TODAY 200” by SALON TODAY magazine.

The magazine’s 17th annual “SALON TODAY 200” issue profiled the selected salons in its January 2014 edition. The 200 salons were selected for their best business practices from applications submitted by SALON TODAY readers.

The magazine honored applicants in 11 different best practice categories, including advanced education, compensation and benefits, customer service, environmental sustainability, philanthropy, planned profitability, recruitment and training, retail and merchandising, retention and referral programs, technology and growth. Chemistry was honored in the compensation and benefits category.

“Chemistry is successful only if each of it’s team members is successful,” Sullivan said. “The foundation of the salon is a 40-week training program and performance bassed goals for advancement. It is a big responsiblity and a great honor to lead our team toward acheiving success in their careers as hairstylist.”

“Our editors recognize that strong business leadership requires the mastery of a number of different best business practices,” Stacey Soble, editor-in-chief of SALON TODAY, said. “The salons named to the ‘SALON TODAY 200’ for 2014 not only proved they excel in one or more or more of these areas, they also have created rewarding environments for their staff members and standout experiences for their clients. Their willingness to share their success offers our readers important business benchmarks and inspirational sales-building ideas.”
