The Krewe of Centaur hosted their Midway to Mardi Gras party at the Bossier Civic Center and revealed the royalty members for this year’s Mardi Gras season. The theme was “Centaur Time Travels” and featured entertainment by The Wonderfuls and a silent auction. – Mark Crawford

The Krewe of Justinian took guests on a trip to Metropolis at the Coronation Celebration at Sam’s Town Casino. The superhero-themed event unveiled the new members of royalty for the 2019-2020 Mardi Gras season.

The American Cancer Society hosted their annual White Out Cancer Gala at East Ridge Country Club. Guests were encouraged to wear white to the party that featured a live and silent auction, dinner buffet and live entertainment by Windstorm. Local individuals of Northwest Louisiana who have helped with the fight against cancer were also recognized as the 2019 Champion of Hope Honorees. – Mark Crawford

Virginia St. John retired from 318 Forum Magazine after a 30-year run of success. Enjoying a “hot dog, you did it” gathering at The Missing Link for their oh-so-good baskets of food were co-workers and family. A tiara and 30 roses were presented, recognizing her long reign at the company. She will be missed!
