Bingo on the Bayou for Catholic Charities was a soldout event in its second year.

Held on Aug. 19 at East Ridge Country Club, seven local priests and Bishop Michael Duca called the games, three in which the bingo was in the shape of a cross. Prizes were restaurant gift cards.

We Are Messengers and Micah Tyler opened for Big Daddy Weave Aug. 17 at First Baptist Bossier for a concert in the sanctuary. A meet-and-greet followed for those who bought special tickets. Kat Arnold welcomed everyone to the event. She is founder, speaker and angler for Christ at Bought, Caught and Released and a radio personality.
